Impact S= tatement |
Geronimo was an Apache war leader that fo= ught many battles against Mexico and the United States. A conflict was that= the U.S. Government wanted the Apache land to build different things, and = they also wanted to relocate the Apache land to other places, which were ba= rren while the Apaches did not wish for this to take place. The American In= dian land was called an ‘Indian Country’. After many wars, a co= mpromise was achieved: the U.S. Government decided to give Indian tribes, i= ncluding the Apaches, different areas of land, called Reservations, and tho= se pieces of land could not be relocated. |
